Southern focus

Founding chief executive of COMET Auckland, Bernardine Vester, recently launched a new book about community-specific approach to educational success and transformation in our largest city. Southern Transformation: Searching for Educational Success in South Auckland explores free market education, learning challenges in poor urban neighbourhoods and calls for educational governance. She asks can we harness collective effort and strategic investment for a different future?

Bernadine was interviewed on RadioNZ on 30 January, listen to the podcast here.
