Full-time Administration Professional

Looking for a chance to build your admin career and make a difference for education and skills in Auckland at the same time?

We are looking for a full-time administrator to join our small, enthusiastic team.  Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Reception – a warm, efficient welcome by phone, web and in person
  • Communications support – managing our extensive database, mailings, e-newsletters
  • Events logistics – finding venues, organising catering and registrations
  • Office support – stationery, equipment, arranging printing, etc
  • Finance support – assist with day-to-day finances and payroll

You will have:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in office administration
  • An eye for detail
  • Commitment to excellence and ability to work without close supervision
  • Passion for education and equity
  • Cultural awareness, and ideally, experience working with Māori, Pasifika and/or migrant communities
  • Experience in financial administration an advantage

You will be joining the small, enthusiastic team at COMET Auckland, which is a Council Controlled Organisation of Auckland Council, and also an independent Charitable Trust. Our mission is to drive systems change to make education and skills more effective and equitable across Auckland.
